Cashiers

Cashiers is a small mountain town in the mountains of NC.  You'll find it about an hour and a half south of Asheville.  Known for the surrounding waterfalls, you'll find great hiking here, a lake, quaint shopping villages and some awesome people!  For a full run down of everything Cashiers has to offer, you can visit the Cashiers Tourism Site, but here are a few of our favorite things in the area:

We LOVE this place.  Such a cute little spot tucked away right off the main street.  Cute little streams and waterfalls throughout.  Nice, clean rooms and a friendly staff too! Rooms are very reasonable and it's walking distance to lots of things in town. 

 

Cashiers Village Inn

This one is right in town and while you can walk to lots of things from here, it is not as close to everything as the Laurelwood Inn.  Clean rooms, great staff, easy to get to with reasonable rates.

Great spot for breakfast, especially in the summer when the porch is open! Go early as in peak times there can be a lengthy wait here!  Quality food!

The Orchard

Our top rated restaurant OF ALL TIME!  We can't get enough of this place.  It is a MUST stop if you're in town.  It took us 5 visits to Cashiers before we discovered it, but we will likely never not eat here if we are in town.
