On our last visit to Wintergreen, Virginia, we made a stop at Pollak Vineyards for a tasting. Then, we went to Veritas Vineyards and returned to Pollak Vineyards for a bottle of wine on the lawn while we watched a live band! We loved this vineyard for its views and its wonderful staff.

For those of you on Lake Tillery or Badin Lake near Albemarle, NC, you may be familiar with the pontoon boat that delivers home-made ice cream to children and adults alike while they're enjoying a day on the water. We are all in luck, because Simply Scrumptious is now open at a small shop on Pee Dee Avenue in Albemarle!
